Renal & Oxalate is specially formulated to meet the needs of cats with chronic renal insufficiency. The diet has a limited content of protein and phosphorus, which prevents the accumulation of waste products, reduces the workload on the kidneys, and ultimately slows the progression of renal insufficiency. The proteins used are of high quality to meet amino acid requirements without generating an excess of waste products. The high energy density of Renal & Oxalate reduces the amount of food required, helping animals with reduced appetite meet their daily energy needs.
The dietetic food Renal & Oxalate is also designed to reduce the formation of calcium oxalate. The use of potassium citrate has an alkalizing effect on urine, which reduces calcium excretion in the urine. In addition, citrate can bind to calcium, which may decrease the formation of calcium oxalate in the urine.
Supports the kidneys in regulating water and electrolyte balance in the body and in eliminating unusable metabolites.
The high biological value of the protein results in a small amount of residual amino acids.
Preparation. Orders placed before 10:00, Monday to Friday, leave the same day. After that they leave on the next working day.
Transport.Once the order leaves our warehouse, the carrier takes a few working days depending on the delivery area.
Working days. Weekends and public holidays are not delivery days, neither at our warehouse nor in the destination country. The dates above already account for them.
