Ingredients that may cause an allergic reaction are kept to a minimum in hypoallergenic diets. All TROVET hypoallergenic diets are based on a single (animal) protein source and a single carbohydrate source and contain all essential nutrients in optimal amounts. The addition of a vitamin and mineral mix is not necessary. All TROVET hypoallergenic dietary food variants can be fed for life.

The addition of a urinary acidifying agent makes the dry food also suitable for the prevention of struvite formation.
