Hepatic is a complete dietetic food that can be used in cases of specific liver disorders. Given the important role of the liver in fat processing and the regulation of lipid metabolism, it is essential to supply the liver with substances that support this metabolism. These so-called lipotropic substances (e.g. L-carnitine, lecithin and choline) are present in Hepatic in elevated amounts. In this way, the burden on the liver is reduced and the recovery of liver tissue is supported.
It is known that some dog breeds may have a hereditary disorder that causes copper to accumulate in the liver. When a large amount of copper enters the body through nutrition, it can cause serious damage to liver tissue. Therefore, Hepatic for dogs is characterised by a reduced copper content, effectively preventing the accumulation of this mineral.
